"I have been directing a sales team at Business.com for
over 6 years and during that time we have NEVER brought a "sales
trainer" in from the outside to train our team.
This year, we finally
decided to bring somebody in from the outside. Of all the trainers we
considered, including well known names like Stephan Schiffman, Mike had
the most compelling message and appropriate style for us.
We brought Mike in for an initial management consulting
session and then an all-day, all-sales session. Mike's training has
already had an impact on our team in the following ways: the power of
thinking like a top 20% producer, asking qualifying questions to
identify buyers (and stop chasing non-buyers), navigating gatekeepers
(using Please, please technique for example), and fostering team
collaboration so that we can learn what works and practice perfection.
We are also beginning the scripting process this week and expect to roll
it out and begin script testing on May 1st.
There are plenty of sales trainers to choose from and in
my 15 year sales career I have endured days of "sales training" that end
up being more of a sideshow act than anything else. Mike Brooks is the
real deal."
